When applied correctly aggregate bound paving systems give a long lasting attractive finish that requires little to no maintaince. It cannot be stressed enough that the bond between the resin and the base application is importantto achieve a quality finish.
The need to select a reputable contractor can eliminate most of the issues associated with this type of finish. Problems such as the top surface detaching itself from the sub base are usually caused by frost or moisture if the surface has not been sealed correctly.
Colour variations can occur due to resin rich batches, temperature and moisture variations, moisture from ground or atmosphere during curing andinconsistent aggregates i.e. grading and fines.
